Acerbic Text

Acerbic Text

Hi friends, this time to create an acerbic text pattern we need to create the pattern first which we will later on apply to our text. For which we first open a new document of 100px X 100px and fill the background with #D01111 and then take a new layer and draw an eclipse and fill it with #F2EA70 at this present moment our canvas will look like:

Double click the layer with the eclipse and apply an outer glow which will be the seed, follow as we have shown here below:

Outer Glow:

Now duplicate the seed layer until you have something similar to the following

Once you are satisfied with the look, go to the main menu and select Edit > Define Pattern and you will have a box like this:

Give a name to your pattern and your pattern will be saved, which you can use later on.Now create a new document sized 350px X 180px.
Then go ahead and choose the text tool. I chose "Forte" as the typeface at a size of 72.Now type your text using any bold font and move
on to the next step.

Now we have the text written, double click on the text layer and apply the following layer styles:

Drop Shadow:

Inner Shadow: Color #870d0d

Inner Glow:

Bevel and Emboss:

Pattern Overlay:

This is what you get finally:

You can see we have topped it of with some leaves

Like it?
