Candy Text

First we have to create a pattern for our candy. Take a 100px X 100px small square canvas, grab the brush tool from the tool bar set the value of the brush to 20px round hard brush and make a patter like shown below, you are free to use your own choice of color:
Now go to Filter > Distort > Pinch and set the value to:
Save this as a pattern. (Edit > Define Pattern) and save as candy.
Now create a document 800px X 600px.
Select the text tool and write a text use any font and size.
Now go to Layer > Layer Style > Pattern Overlay and set the values to:

While the layer style palate still on click to Bevel and Emboss and set the sliders to:

Also apply Drop Shadow:

Now we need to set the angle of the text:
Go to Image > Rotate Canvas > Arbitrary and set to 45 CCW.

Also apply Drop Shadow:
Now we need to set the angle of the text:
Go to Image > Rotate Canvas > Arbitrary and set to 45 CCW.
Now go to Layer > Merge Visible.
Now its time to rotate the image back to its position Image > Rotate Canvas > Arbitrary and set to 45 CW.
And we are done:
